After numbing the entry and exit points for the threads with local anaesthetic, the threads are deployed under the skin using a fine micro-needle. You’ll be able to see the lift achieved right away.
You might feel some discomfort when the local anaesthetic is administered and when it wears off, but this is usually minimal.
The procedure takes around 1 hour.
This treatment is extremely safe when carried out by an experienced practitioner. The threads are made of polylactic acid which has been used in medicine for many years to make sutures and other prosthetic devices.
There may be some minor bruising where the threads have been deployed. You might also experience slight swelling or redness but this will disappear in a few days.
