The Best Way To Remove Varicose Veins

  • Blogs

What are varicose veins?

Varicose veins are unsightly and wanting to have them removed is entirely understandable, but what’s stopping you from seeking treatment? Have you been putting it off because you’re not sure of the methods used and you’re worried it’s going to be painful? Have you been led to believe that surgery is the only option and you really don’t want to endure a long recovery time, as well as the scarring caused by any stitching? Let us put your mind at rest.

Those enlarged red or blue veins on the backs of your legs don’t have to be there any longer, if you’re ready to find out more about our non invasive treatment methods. We can restore smooth skin to your legs and increase your body confidence in time for the summer, when your legs are more likely to be on display!

What treatment is available for varicose veins?

Here at the L’atelier clinic in Mayfair, we offer a noninvasive varicose veins removal treatment that involves far less downtime that a surgical option and is relatively pain-free. Our highly qualified and experienced practitioners will perform radio frequency ablation treatment on you to remove your varicose veins. This involves us using a device to deliver radio waves into your vein, with a view to increasing your collagen levels and causing the veins to collapse and be reabsorbed by the body.

What happens during treatment?

The procedure will be carried out at the Princess Grace Hospital in London and takes about 45 minutes per leg. If you need the treatment to be performed on both legs, we would advise having each leg treated separately. A couple of days recovery time is all that’s required before you can carry on as normal, although you will be advised to wear a pressure stocking for two weeks afterwards.

Could you be a suitable candidate for the safe and effective radio frequency ablation method of varicose vein removal performed here in our Harley Street practice near Mayfair? It will save you taking more time off work than would be required with a surgical procedure and you should feel more active quicker too.
