Facetite Treatment at L’Atelier Aesthetics on Harley Street London.

FaceTite is a minimally invasive radiofrequency treatment that tightens loose skin, stimulates collagen and recontours the face, jaw and neck, producing structural improvement that non-invasive surface treatments cannot match, without the recovery of surgery.

FaceTite is a minimally invasive skin tightening and contouring treatment available at L’Atelier Aesthetics, 101 Harley Street. Using bipolar radiofrequency energy delivered through a fine probe, FaceTite heats the deeper layers of the skin and underlying tissue to stimulate collagen remodelling, contract lax skin and, where needed, reduce localised fat. The result is a firmer, better-defined face, jaw and neck without the commitment of surgery.

Unlike fully non-surgical treatments, FaceTite does involve small incisions made under local anaesthetic, through which the probe is inserted. These are extremely small no stitches are required but it is important to understand that FaceTite is a minimally invasive procedure, not a non-invasive one. This distinction matters: it is precisely what allows FaceTite to achieve a level of structural improvement that energy-based devices applied to the skin surface alone cannot match. Every FaceTite treatment at L’Atelier begins with a personal consultation with Dr Duncan Brennand, who assesses your skin, discusses your goals and ensures FaceTite is the right choice for you.

How does Facetite work?

FaceTite uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL)a technology that delivers controlled radiofrequency energy simultaneously from a small internal probe and an external electrode placed on the skin surface. As the probe moves through the subdermal tissue, it generates precise heat that causes the collagen fibres within the skin to contract immediately, producing a visible tightening effect. Over the weeks and months that follow, the body’s natural healing response generates new collagen, which continues to improve skin firmness and texture.

Where there is localised fat most commonly under the chin or along the jawline the heat also liquefies the fat cells, which can then be gently aspirated. The temperature is monitored in real time throughout the procedure, ensuring a safe, predictable result. The entire process typically takes one to two hours and is performed under local anaesthetic, meaning most patients experience only a mild sensation of pressure or warmth during treatment.

What Can FaceTite Treat?

FaceTite is particularly well suited to the mid and lower face, the jawline and the neck. At L’Atelier Aesthetics, Dr Duncan Brennand uses FaceTite to address the following concerns:

Jowls and jawline laxity

As collagen and elastin break down with age, the skin along the lower face and jaw begins to lose its support. The result is a softening and drooping of the jawline known as jowling. FaceTite tightens the skin and underlying tissue in this area, restoring definition and a cleaner jaw profile.

Double chin and submental fat

Excess fat beneath the chin is common and is not always related to overall body weight. FaceTite addresses both the fat itself and the skin laxity that often accompanies it, producing a more defined chin and upper neck contour.

Sagging cheeks

The natural descent of the soft tissue and fat pads of the cheeks with age creates a hollowed, heavy or flattened appearance. FaceTite can lift and tighten this area, restoring a more youthful mid-face contour.

Neck laxity and turkey neck

The skin of the neck is thinner than the face and often shows signs of ageing earlier. Loose or crepey neck skin sometimes described as a turkey neck responds well to FaceTite, which tightens the tissue and improves the overall elegance of the neck profile.

Neck lines and horizontal banding

Repetitive movement and gradual loss of elasticity can create stubborn horizontal lines across the neck. FaceTite smooths and tightens the skin in this area, reducing the appearance of these lines without more invasive intervention.

Post-weight loss skin laxity

Significant weight losswhether through lifestyle changes or medication such as GLP-1 treatment scan leave the skin of the face and neck without sufficient volume to maintain its structure. FaceTite can tighten and recontour this laxity, helping the skin adapt to its new underlying framework.

FaceTite Before and After

Before and after images are one of the most important references when researching FaceTite. At L’Atelier Aesthetics, Dr Duncan Brennand photographs every patient at their consultation, creating a proper baseline against which results can be measured. During your appointment, Dr Brennand will show you a selection of patient images with concerns similar to your own, so you can develop a realistic understanding of what FaceTite can achieve.

When reviewing FaceTite before and after images from any clinic, look for consistency of results across multiple patients, natural-looking outcomes rather than overtly altered appearances, and clear improvement in the specific concern you are hoping to address.

Dr Duncan Brennand on FaceTite

Dr Duncan Brennand | GMC: 4341662

The patients who see the best results from FaceTite are, in my experience, the ones we take time to select carefully at consultation. FaceTite is a genuinely effective treatmentwhen it is right for the patient. What I see less often discussed is that the technology is only part of the outcome. The assessment beforehand, the treatment plan and the precision of the procedure itself all matter enormously.

I am also conscious that many patients arrive having already spent money on treatments that did not deliver what they hoped for. That is a real frustration, and it is something I take seriously. My approach at L’Atelier is to be straightforward about what FaceTite can and cannot do for your specific anatomy and concerns. If FaceTite is not the right choice, I will tell youand I will suggest what is. If it is the right choice, the results can be quite remarkable.

I had one of the best chemical peels with the lovely Kate! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Kate made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire experience.

I’m thrilled with the results – my skin is glowing, and I’m already looking forward to my next treatment! I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a top-quality beauty treatment. Thank you so much – I’ll definitely be coming back!

Who is Suitable for FaceTite?

FaceTite is most effective for patients with moderate laxity of the mid and lower face, jawline or neck who are looking for a result that goes beyond what injectables alone can provide, without undergoing a surgical facelift. Good candidates are in good general health, are fit for a local anaesthetic procedure, and have realistic expectations about outcomes.

It is worth being clear: FaceTite produces significant, visible improvement, and results are long-lasting. However, for patients with very advanced skin laxity or those seeking the most dramatic possible change, a surgical approach may ultimately deliver a more complete result. Dr Brennand will assess this honestly at your consultation and will not recommend FaceTite where surgery would serve you better.

Combining FaceTite with Other Treatments

At L’Atelier Aesthetics, we approach treatment planning as a whole rather than a single isolated intervention. FaceTite addresses structural laxity and contouring, but combining it with complementary treatments from the outset rather than adding them reactively later consistently produces better, longer-lasting outcomes.

FaceTite pairs particularly well with Morpheus8 which can be performed in the same session. While FaceTite addresses the deeper structural tissue, Morpheus8 works on the surface skin layers to improve texture, reduce fine lines and stimulate further collagen production. The two together offer a more comprehensive rejuvenation than either can achieve alone.

For patients focused on skin quality and hydration alongside structural improvement, skin boosters such as Profhilo can be introduced as part of the maintenance programme following FaceTite. For longer-term collagen support, Julaine our preferred biostimulator is an excellent complement. All combination planning is discussed and agreed with Dr. Brennand at consultation.

FaceTite Frequently Asked Questions

If you have a question that is not covered below, please do get in touch with the team at L’Atelier Aesthetics. You can reach us by phone, email, WhatsApp or through the contact form on our website.

Can FaceTite be combined with other treatments?

Yes, and at L’Atelier Aesthetics we frequently recommend a combination approach planned from the outset rather than adding treatments reactively over time. FaceTite combines particularly well with Morpheus8 for comprehensive skin tightening, with skin boosters such as Profhilo to restore hydration and quality, and with Julaine for ongoing collagen stimulation. All combinations are discussed and agreed with Dr Brennand at your consultation.

How is FaceTite different from Morpheus8?

Both FaceTite and Morpheus8 use radiofrequency energy to tighten skin and stimulate collagen, but they work at different levels and achieve different things. Morpheus8 is a non-invasive RF microneedling treatment applied to the skin surface, targeting the upper and mid layers of the dermis. It is effective for skin texture, fine lines and mild to moderate laxity. FaceTite works deeperat the subdermal levelthrough small internal probes, making it more effective for structural laxity of the lower face, jawline and neck where surface treatments have limitations. For many patients, the two treatments complement each other well and can be performed in the same session.

Am I a suitable candidate for FaceTite?

Good candidates for FaceTite are generally those with moderate skin laxity of the face, jaw or neck who are in good general health and fit for a local anaesthetic procedure. FaceTite works best for patients who want more than non-invasive treatments can deliver but are not ready, or do not wish, to undergo surgery. The best way to determine whether FaceTite is right for you is through a personal consultation with Dr Brennand, where your concerns, anatomy and expectations can be assessed properly.

What aftercare is needed following FaceTite?

You will be provided with full aftercare instructions at the clinic. In the days following treatment, keep the treated areas clean and dry, wear the compression garment as directed, avoid sun exposure on the treated skin, and apply SPF diligently when outdoors. Makeup is best avoided for the first week. A course of antibiotics is typically prescribed to minimise any risk of infection. Dr Brennand and the team will arrange a follow-up appointment to check your progress and address any questions.

What is the recovery time after FaceTite?

Most patients experience swelling, tenderness and some bruising in the days following treatment. The more noticeable effects typically settle within one to two weeks. Many patients return to desk-based work within five to seven days, though some prefer to work from home during this period. A compression garment is worn for the first few days to support the tissue and minimise swelling. Strenuous exercise and vigorous activity should be avoided for three to four weeks.

Does FaceTite really work?

Yes when performed on the right patient by an experienced practitioner, FaceTite produces significant, measurable improvement in skin laxity and facial contour. Clinical studies have demonstrated skin contraction of up to 40% following treatment. That said, outcomes vary depending on patient selection, the degree of laxity being treated, and the skill of the person performing the procedure. At L’Atelier Aesthetics, every FaceTite treatment is led by Dr Duncan Brennand, who takes a careful, consultation-led approach to ensure the treatment is appropriate before proceeding.

How long do FaceTite results last?

Results from FaceTite are long-lasting. Initial tightening is visible immediately, with results continuing to develop as new collagen forms over the following 12 to 18 months. The longevity of your results will depend on your age, skin quality and how your skin continues to age naturally. Many patients find that combining FaceTite with a maintenance programme of skin quality treatments such as Profhilo, Julaine or Morpheus8 helps to sustain and build on their results over time.

How much does FaceTite cost?

The exact cost will depend on the areas being treated and the complexity of your individual case, which is assessed at consultation. Full pricing is available on our pricing page. We do not offer discounts or promotions on clinical treatments.

What can FaceTite treat?

FaceTite is effective for jowling and jawline laxity, a double chin or excess submental fat, sagging cheeks, loose or crepey neck skin, horizontal neck lines and post-weight loss skin laxity around the lower face and neck. It can be used to address a single concern or as part of a broader facial rejuvenation plan.

Is FaceTite the same as surgery?

No. FaceTite is a minimally invasive procedure, not a surgical one. It is performed under local anaesthetic as a day-case treatment with no general anaesthesia and no surgical incisions. That said, it is important to understand that FaceTite does involve very small entry points for the probeit is not a purely non-invasive treatment applied to the skin surface. This is precisely what allows it to achieve structural improvements that surface devices cannot replicate. For patients with very advanced laxity, a surgical facelift may still be a more appropriate option, and Dr Brennand will advise honestly at consultation.

How does the FaceTite procedure work?

A fine probe is inserted through very small incisions in the skin. Radiofrequency energy is delivered simultaneously from the probe beneath the skin and an electrode on the surface. This precise heat causes the collagen in the tissue to contract immediately, producing a visible tightening effect. The body then continues to generate new collagen over the following months, improving results progressively. The temperature is monitored in real time throughout to ensure safety and consistency.

What is FaceTite?

FaceTite is a minimally invasive treatment that uses bipolar radiofrequency energy to tighten loose skin, stimulate collagen and, where appropriate, reduce localised subdermal fat around the face, jaw and neck. It is performed under local anaesthetic through tiny incisions, making it a meaningful step up from non-invasive surface treatments but without the commitment or recovery of surgery.
