Silhouette Soft is a non-surgical thread lift that combines two powerful anti-ageing effects. Dissolvable threads inserted beneath the skin reposition sagging soft tissue immediately, while the cones on each thread stimulate the body’s natural collagen production over time. Silhouette Soft Pre-Treatment Guidance

To prepare for your Silhouette Soft thread lift in London:

• Arrive with clean skin, free from make-up or skincare products
• Eat before your appointment to ensure comfort during treatment
• Avoid blood-thinning medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen where possible, unless prescribed by your doctor
• Avoid alcohol for 24 to 48 hours before your appointment to minimise the risk of bruising and swelling
• Avoid dental procedures for two weeks prior to treatment
• Inform your practitioner of any previous facial treatments, including fillers, surgical procedures or implants

During your visit:

• Clinical photographs and consent will be completed if not already done
• A member of the team will cleanse the skin thoroughly
• Numbing cream and local anaesthetic will be applied to ensure comfort throughout the procedure
• Treatment time is typically 60 minutes following preparation

What to Expect Immediately After Silhouette Soft

An immediate lifting effect is visible following Silhouette Soft treatment. However, some post-treatment effects are entirely normal as the skin adjusts to the threads.

You may experience:

• Dimpling or puckering of the skin along the thread entry points
• Swelling and mild bruising in the treated area
• Tenderness or tightness around the face and jaw
• Small marks at the entry points where the threads were inserted

Dimpling is a common and expected part of the healing process and resolves on its own as the skin settles around the threads, typically within one week. Swelling and bruising also fade during this time.

Silhouette Soft Post-Treatment Care

The aftercare period following a thread lift is important to ensure the threads remain correctly positioned and the results are preserved. We recommend the following:

• Sleep on your back with your head slightly elevated for the first week to minimise swelling and avoid putting pressure on the threads
• Avoid touching, rubbing or massaging the treated area for at least two weeks
• Avoid make-up over the entry points for 24 hours or until any marks have healed
• Avoid strenuous exercise and activities that cause significant facial movement for two weeks
• Avoid dental procedures and wide mouth opening for at least two to four weeks after treatment
• Avoid facials, facial massage, microneedling and other skin treatments in the treated area for at least four weeks
• Avoid saunas, steam rooms and intense heat for two weeks following treatment
• Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or above daily to protect the skin during healing

When Will I See Results from Silhouette Soft?

Silhouette Soft delivers both immediate and progressive results.

• An immediate lifting and repositioning effect is visible straight after treatment
• Initial swelling and dimpling resolves within one week, revealing the true lift more clearly
• Results are fully visible at two weeks as the skin settles around the threads
• Collagen stimulation continues over the following months, improving skin quality, firmness and contour over time
• Results typically last between 12 and 18 months as the threads gradually and naturally dissolve

Repeat treatments can be carried out once the threads have been fully absorbed, and many patients choose to maintain their results with a follow-up session.

Who Should Not Have Silhouette Soft?

Silhouette Soft may not be suitable if you have:

• Active skin infections, open wounds or compromised skin in the treatment area
• A history of keloid scarring
• Significant skin laxity that may be better suited to a surgical approach
• Certain autoimmune conditions or skin disorders affecting the treatment area
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
