Hydrafacial at L’Atelier, Harley Street

A deep-cleansing, exfoliating and hydrating treatment designed to leave your skin clearer, brighter and healthier with immediate results and no downtime.

Hydrafacial has become one of the most requested skin treatments worldwide because it delivers consistent, visible improvements without irritation, discomfort or recovery time. At our Harley Street clinic, every Hydrafacial is performed by trained skin specialists who tailor each step to your individual needs. Whether your priority is congestion, dullness, pigmentation, dryness or general complexion improvement, Hydrafacial offers a reliable solution suitable for all skin types.

This treatment works through a patented vortex system that gently lifts away impurities while infusing the skin with active serums. Its unique combination of cleansing, exfoliation, painless extractions and deep hydration makes it a standout for patients who want noticeable results without the intensity of more invasive procedures.

Our approach is grounded in medical expertise. We do not offer a one-size-fits-all protocol. Each patient receives a personalised treatment based on a thorough skin assessment to ensure the safest and most effective outcome.

Your HydraFacial Journey at L’Atelier Aesthetics

So how does HydraFacial work? Each HydraFacial treatment follows a three-step sequence, although boosters and add-ons can be integrated depending on your skin concerns.

1. Deep Cleanse
The treatment starts with a thorough cleanse to remove surface impurities, oil and debris. This prepares your skin for exfoliation and ensures that the active ingredients penetrate effectively.

2. Gentle Exfoliation
A light chemical exfoliant is applied to dissolve dead skin cells and soften the upper layer of the epidermis. This step helps to smooth texture, improve clarity and brighten dull areas.

3. Painless Extractions
The HydraFacial handpiece uses vortex-suction technology to draw out blackheads, congestion and trapped sebum. This method is far gentler than manual extractions and significantly reduces the risk of inflammation.

4. Active Serum Infusion
The final stage saturates the skin with hydrating and antioxidant-rich serums, including hyaluronic acid, peptides and custom boosters. These formulations vary depending on your needs, such as brightening, smoothing, hydrating or calming.

Optional Boosters
We offer a range of boosters to enhance your results. These may include brightening boosters for pigmentation, firming formulas to improve elasticity, clarifying boosters for acne-prone skin or calming formulations for redness and sensitivity.

Optional LED Therapy
LED light can be added to further reduce inflammation, promote collagen activity and improve healing. Many patients choose this combination for even better results.

Results and Longevity

HydraFacial delivers instant improvements that can last for several days to a week. As part of a monthly routine, results tend to accumulate, leading to:

Clearer, smoother skin
Reduced congestion and fewer breakouts
More even skin tone
Healthier hydration levels
Improved skin texture over time
Better absorption of skincare products

If you have ongoing concerns such as persistent pigmentation, acne or deeper lines, HydraFacial can act as a perfect foundation for other advanced treatments. Your practitioner will advise on timing and suitability.

Who Performs Your HydraFacial:

HydraFacial at our Harley Street clinic is carried out by trained skin specialists with a deep understanding of facial anatomy, skin function and medical-grade skincare. We focus on results that are clinically credible and tailored to your unique skin needs.

Whether this is your first HydraFacial or part of your ongoing routine, you will receive a full consultation and skin assessment before treatment.

Combining HydraFacial With Other Treatments

HydraFacial pairs exceptionally well with other procedures. Depending on your goals, we may recommend combining it with:

Microneedling
Skin tightening (such as Sofwave or radiofrequency)
Chemical peels
LED light therapy
Injectable treatments (on separate appointments)
Medical-grade skincare programmes

The aim is to build a complete and sustainable plan for long-term skin health.

Your Harley Street Experience

HydraFacial is known for being comfortable, relaxing and stress-free. There is no stinging, burning or peeling, and most patients describe the sensation as a gentle vacuum and cool hydration across the skin.

A typical appointment takes around 30 to 45 minutes depending on whether you choose add-ons. Your skin may look slightly flushed immediately afterwards, although this usually settles within minutes. You can return to work or social plans straight after treatment, and most people apply makeup the same day if they wish.

You will notice immediate improvements in hydration, radiance and texture. For longer-term changes, such as reduced pigmentation, improved elasticity or clearer pores, we often recommend a course of monthly treatments combined with a personalised skincare protocol.

Ask us a question
What exactly is HydraFacial?

HydraFacial is a non-invasive, multistep skin treatment that uses patented vortex technology to deeply cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate the skin. It is designed to improve skin clarity, texture and brightness without downtime.

Is HydraFacial painful?

No. HydraFacial is known for being gentle and comfortable. Patients often describe the sensation as a cool, refreshing vacuum across the skin.

Does treatment hurt?

Most of our clients don’t report any discomfort with the treatment, as the needles used are extremely fine, and though powerful, the radiofrequency waves are incredibly small. In just one small squared area, up to 24 tiny microneedle pins can be used to target deep tissue, with the depth easily adjustable.

How soon will I see results?

Results are visible immediately. Skin will appear cleaner, brighter, smoother and better hydrated right after treatment.

How often should I have HydraFacial?

For general skin maintenance, a monthly HydraFacial is ideal. If you are targeting specific concerns such as pigmentation or congestion, your practitioner may advise a structured treatment plan.

Can HydraFacial help acne?

Yes. It is effective at clearing congestion, reducing blackheads and improving overall skin clarity. For moderate or active acne, HydraFacial can be part of a broader medical skin plan.

Can I have HydraFacial if I have rosacea or sensitive skin?

In most cases, yes. HydraFacial can be adapted to suit sensitive, red or reactive skin types. The exfoliation and serum levels can be adjusted to ensure safety and comfort.

Is there any downtime?

There is no downtime. Your skin may be slightly flushed for a short time, but this settles quickly.

Can I wear makeup after treatment?

Most patients wait a few hours before applying makeup, although it is usually safe to do so the same day.

Can I combine HydraFacial with injectables?

Yes, but not on the same day. HydraFacial is an ideal pre-treatment to prepare your skin ahead of injectable appointments, provided they are spaced appropriately.

Who is not suitable for HydraFacial?

You may not be suitable if you have active cold sores, certain skin infections, severe rosacea flare-ups or if you are using particular prescription skincare. Your practitioner will advise after a consultation.

How does HydraFacial compare to a standard facial?

Traditional facials rely on manual techniques. HydraFacial uses a patented device to provide deeper cleansing, more precise exfoliation and targeted serum delivery, offering more consistent and visible results.

Does HydraFacial shrink pores?

It does not physically shrink pore size, but by removing congestion and dead skin buildup, pores appear smaller and more refined.

How long does a HydraFacial take?

Most treatments take between 30 and 45 minutes depending on the chosen protocol and boosters.
