Improve your skin quality from our premium range of skin booster treatments at L’Atelier Aesthetics on Harley Street.
Our skin booster treatments are performed by Dr Duncan Brennand within our L’Atelier Aesthetics clinic at 101 Harley Street. Skin booster relatively quick treatments which are great at improving hydration, texture but they must still be performed by a qualified medical expert.
Most injectable skin boosters utilise hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring molecule in the skin responsible for maintaining moisture and structure. This is the same hyaluronic acid that is found in dermal fillers, however unlike HA fillers, skin boosters are often not cross-linked, meaning they are better spreading under the skin to give an all round hydrating effect. If you are looking for more of a contouring or shaping treatment, for example to enhance the lips, or chin then you need to consider a typical HA filler treatment where small amounts of filler are placed in a specific area.
Skin boosters work to:
Improve hydration and luminosity
Soften fine lines and wrinkles
Increase elasticity and firmness
Smooth uneven or crepey skin texture
Reduce dullness caused by ageing or environmental stress
Revive skin health for a more radiant, youthful glow
They’re suitable for all skin types and can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, and hands, anywhere the skin needs a bit of extra help and vitality.

Skin boosters are administered through a series of micro-injections using ultra-fine needles. The hyaluronic acid spreads evenly beneath the skin, attracting water molecules and improving elasticity and texture.
The treatment works in two phases:
Immediate hydration boost, plumper, smoother skin within days.
Long-term regeneration, increased collagen and elastin production for lasting improvement over the following weeks.
While both Skin Boosters and Polynucleotides work to rejuvenate the skin from within, they work in different ways. Skin Boosters use hyaluronic acid or other active ingredients to deliver intense hydration and improve skin texture, elasticity, and glow. They act like an internal moisturiser, restoring radiance and softness.
Polynucleotides, on the other hand, are regenerative injectables made from purified DNA fragments (Salmon Sperm is the term you may have heard) that actively repair and rebuild the skin at a cellular level.
They stimulate fibroblast activity, improve tissue quality, and promote long-term healing and collagen production. In short, Skin Boosters hydrate, while Polynucleotides regenerate and many patients benefit from a personalised plan that combines both for optimal skin quality.

A skin booster is a lightweight hyaluronic acid injectable designed to deeply hydrate and rejuvenate the skin without adding volume.
They deliver hyaluronic acid into the skin using micro-injections, improving moisture levels, elasticity, and texture from within.
Polynucleotides are a new generation of regenerative skin boosters that go beyond hydration to repair and rejuvenate the skin at a cellular level.
Unlike traditional hyaluronic acid skin boosters, which primarily focus on moisture and glow, Polynucleotides work to detoxify and restore the skin’s natural balance. Derived from purified DNA fragments, they stimulate fibroblast activity to boost collagen and elastin production while neutralising free radicals, which are the unstable molecules that accelerate ageing.
This double action helps to regenerate the skin, improve elasticity, and enhance overall skin quality, leaving the complexion clearer, firmer, and more rejuvenated.
They enhance hydration, boost collagen production, and leave the skin glowing, smooth, and refreshed.
Most people notice visible results immediately with improvements within 1–2 weeks, with continued skin quality improvement as the skin becomes more hydrated.
Results usually last between 6–9 months, depending on the individual, the product and treatment area.
At our 101 Harley Street location you will need a course of two treatments, three to four weeks apart, is recommended initially, followed by maintenance every six months.
Hyaluronic acid fillers restore shape and volume, sculpting features like the lips or cheeks for definition. Skin Boosters, may still use HA, but they use ultra-light formulations (non-cross linked) to hydrate and improve skin quality rather than add volume, enhancing radiance, texture, and elasticity for a naturally refreshed look.
Yes, certain skin boosters or Polynucleotides can be used to hydrate and smooth the delicate under-eye area safely. All treatments at L’Atelier are performed by medical professionals like Dr Duncan Brennand using FDA or CE-approved, clinically tested injectables.
