What Is An IV Drip?

If you haven’t heard of IV drip therapy before, then prepare to be schooled! Although it’s been around for a while, this special procedure – also known as a vitamin drip – is still flying under the radar. In fact, we’d go as far as to say it’s one of skincare’s best-kept secrets…

In this post, we’ll focus on IV drip treatment but go back to basics, covering how it works, what it costs and how long you can expect it to last. If you hadn’t heard of it before, you’ll be talking about it afterwards! Here goes…

What is a vitamin drip (or also called an IV Drip)?

We’ll first tackle this key question – what exactly is it? Well, think of it as supercharging your body with all the supplements it needs to look and feel fantastic, and to perform at its best – except this time, there’s no tablets to take and it goes directly where it’s needed, with nothing wasted.

A vitamin drip is a lot like a hospital drip – a bag of ‘stuff’ connected to your body via a cannula, which is a thin tube inserted into a vein. It’s a bit like having a simple injection, except your body is then given a tailored infusion of key vitamins, minerals and supplements.

What does a vitamin drip do?

There are lots of benefits to treatment. Here’s just a handful of ways it could benefit you:

– Combats ageing

– Rehydrates the body

– Boosts immunity

– Improves athletic performance

– Supports good health

– Improves mood & energy

It’s all down to that careful blend of vitamins and minerals – which is customised to your exact needs.
