Used to rejuvenate and firm the face and body, Mesotherapy is fast becoming a popular treatment and people are asking why. From targeting cellulite and acne to age spots and hair loss, it’s clear to see that Mesotherapy is a very versatile treatment – let’s explore this more!
How was the treatment developed?
In 1952, Michel Pistor, a doctor in France developed the technique of Mesotherapy. Since it was first invented, new treatments in Mesotherapy have been developed involving Lipolysis. This treatment involves the safe removal of stubborn areas of fat, which some people may have struggled to reduce themselves.
What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a treatment that delivers a tailored cocktail of nutrients, which can include hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. This is injected through a state-of-the-art power injector, which ensures a virtually pain-free experience. The cocktail of ingredients targets both the dermis and epidermis to address your needs and leave remarkable yet natural results over time.
How does the treatment work?
Mesotherapy is an extremely safe treatment. The process takes approximately 30 minutes, and the discomfort is usually very minor – at most you may feel a slight prickling sensation. At L’atelier we simply inject the cocktail directly into the areas to be treated. In terms of the side effects, there may be some bruising and mild redness, however, this is temporary and it will settle within a few hours. Although it will vary from one client to another, we usually recommend 6 Mesotherapy sessions, followed by regular treatments in order to maintain results.
Where can I receive the treatment and what are the benefits?
At L’atelier aesthetics on Harley Street, Mayfair, we are highly experienced in using Mesotherapy and are committed to delivering treatments at the safest and highest standard. We offer Mesotherapy courses for both the hair and face, as well as the body. We can, for example, use it to treat concerns such as acne and age spots, and for facial rejuvenation and providing that extra ‘glow’. It can also be used to target hair loss in both males and females.
It also has its benefits for the body. It can reduce sagging and boost moisture levels, treat and reduce cellulite, and is able to reduce fat in areas such as the neck and tummy. The courses can be tailored to meet your individual needs and can help to improve the way you look and feel. The benefits speak for themselves!
