L’Atelier Aesthetics

Is There Such Thing As The Perfect Peel?

Chemical peels are ever popular, and with results in as little as 1 week, it’s easy to see why. But is there such a thing as the ‘perfect peel’? In actual fact, yes, there is! At our aesthetics clinic here in Harley Street – the highly-regarded medical district of London – we offer exactly that.

What is The Perfect Peel?

It’s a chemical peel that’s formulated around the antioxidant, glutathione. Glutathione is often called the ‘ultimate antioxidant’ because it’s so powerful, and because it can help fight free radicals, which are molecules that cause damage and ageing to cells of the body.

Why glutathione?

Glutathione is made of three key amino acids which together, can help detox your cells. While your body does produce this naturally in the liver, and it can be found in your diet too (spinach and avocados are key sources), it’s not easily absorbed by the body and your levels naturally decrease with age. That’s why we created this special, glutathione-boosting chemical peel.

What else is in this chemical peel?

The Perfect Peel is also blended with skin-brightening, collagen-boosting kojic acid, as well as calming salicylic acid and a combination of ingredients that work to combat wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. In other words, you’re getting a whole host of benefits in just one chemical peel.

So why do we call it ‘The Perfect Peel’? Because it’s the perfect blend of ingredients to give you brighter, tighter skin.

What can The Perfect Peel treat?

There are lots of fantastic benefits to this special chemical peel, including:

  • Improvements to tone and texture of the skin, including acne scarring
  • Refining of hyperpigmentation, including melisma, and enlarged pores
  • Smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Boosted collagen production, for firmer, tighter skin
  • Enhanced skin radiance

What’s involved with this peel?

As is suggested by a chemical peel, you can expect some peeling! It’s also not unusual to feel slight stinging or tingling during the process. We do recommend having a course of treatments if you have a particular skin concern you want to target, such as acne.

Most people stop peeling around the 7-day mark, so this is where we say you’ll truly see your results. We’ll provide you with an aftercare pack so you can look after your skin during the process and further optimise your results.

Why choose L’Atelier?

We’re glad you asked! This is probably the most important question you could ask about any treatment with us. For any facial aesthetics procedure, it’s so important to go to a reputable, registered practitioner and a well-established clinic. We can offer all of those with L’Atelier. And, with a state-of-the art clinic, and investment in the latest treatments and technologies, you know you’re getting the best of the best.
